Oleksandr Voron

Oleksandr Voron was relocated to London by his employer, an investment bank, in 2014. At first he planned to return back to Ukraine eventually, but changed his mind after buying a house in South East London.

Returning to Canary Wharf area, where he went to his office daily before the Covid-19 pandemic, Oleksandr feels nostalgic. During six years of employment at Barclays his life has changed in many ways. Growing apart with his wife and watching his two sons forgetting their native language has left a sad mark, but Oleksandr is optimistic about the future. "I feel like I am at the start of a new page in my life" he says.
